Georgeanna Parks, Principal Designer

Georgeanna Parks believes that wonderful design is an opportunity to deepen receptivity to one's surroundings and beyond. With the proper attention, a room that might otherwise go unnoticed becomes a sanctuary of comfort and resplendency. Specializing in both residential and commercial environments, Georgeanna believes that wonderful design should be both accessible and inspirational and encourages her clients to develop their own tastes through education and her visionary support. These interiors display her ability to mix different styles in a dynamic way that feels collected and personal to each project. This opportunity is what drives Georgeanna's work, and her relationships with her clients.

After graduating from New York University, Georgeanna returned to her native Los Angeles where she got her start working as a set decorator for film and television. Her custom furniture and design training came from working at Diva Furniture and from years assisting design maven Sally Sirkin Lewis at J. Robert Scott. Fully equipped with knowledge of furniture manufacturing, project design, and management, Georgeanna joined Philippa Radon Design in 2008, ready to assist in all aspects of the design process. She has worked on interior design projects from the ground up in New York City, Boston, Montana, Key Largo, Chicago as well as Los Angeles, Palm Desert and the Bay Area.

In 2012 Georgeanna launched her own company in Los Angeles --Georgeanna Parks Design-- where she continues to draw inspiration from art, nature and architecture. Her background & education support her in expressing her signature fresh, eclectic and casually elegant style. Georgeanna believes that collaboration with clients is of upmost importance when designing, knowing that their experience together will ultimately shape the success of the project's outcome.

Georgeanna Parks Interior Design comes to a project with her loyal team of local and specialized trades people to assist in all ranges of projects: from new construction to remodels, from space planning to furniture selection and from paint schemes to art collecting.

She jokes that she designed her first furniture pieces when at twelve years of age, she decided that her matching heart wallpaper, bedspread and drapery “had to go,” and in its place designed a custom hand painted sleigh bed and lichen green English roll arm sofa with straw colored piping. Delighted with her creations then, Georgeanna is still pursuing her dream career today.
